Jason Pettway has held various roles throughout the company, in departments such as Marketing, IT, MW&S, Engineering, and now HR.
Jason serves as the Assistant Vice President of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion.
In this role he is responsible for the company’s diversity, equity & inclusion strategy.
This includes developing system-wide alignment of corporate DEI priorities, as well as making DEI a sustainable competitive advantage.
Simply put, he leads the corporation in developing and promoting best practices that create a culture where everyone can thrive.
Jason is a CDE (certified Diversity Executive), which allows him to strategically position Norfolk Southern to remove systemic barriers to inclusion, lead culture change, and transform the brand.
He loves to travel and is a connoisseur of chocolate chip cookies. He also serves as a board member of both the Norfolk Southern Good Government Fund and Kate’s Club.
He and his wife, Frances, are the proud parents of two sons.
