A Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) change initiative is a culture change initiative.
It requires changing both mindsets and behaviors.
This doesn’t happen in the classroom.
It happens on the factory floor, in the breakroom, in the cafeteria, in the C-suite, in town halls and hallways and team meetings.
It doesn’t happen based on good intentions.
It doesn’t happen based on saying the right things.
It happens when those from the CEO to the front lines look inward as well as outward and change what needs to be changed.
This requires courage, a strong commitment, hard work, and persistence.
In this workshop, we are bringing together the disciplines of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and Change Management to guide you through the process of mapping out a DEI change initiative for your organization.
Our approach is methodology agnostic. the DEI change strategy you leave with can be executed through your organization’s approach to change implementation with the integration of key elements, principles, and techniques you will learn during the workshop.
At the conclusion of the workshop, participants will have:
- A deeper understanding of the DEI risks their organization faces, and an assessment for further researching and clarifying those risks
- An understanding of the neuroscience behind successful vs. unsuccessful DEI initiatives
- A preliminary plan for executing a DEI change strategy tailored to your organization
- Critical tools for successful implementation of your strategy in today’s disrupted business environment
